India’s ambassador to Ankara paid a visit on Wednesday to Türkiye’s leading news outlet Anadolu Agency, which he emphasized has multiple offices around the world while also producing coverage in over a dozen languages.

Director-General Serdar Karagoz and Deputy Director-General and Editor-in-Chief Yusuf Ozhan welcomed Ambassador Virander Paul and his accompanying delegation at Anadolu Agency’s headquarters.

Karagoz told Paul that the agency focused on the positive social, economic, cultural, and tourism-related current events in India.

Ozhan, meanwhile, provided information about the agency’s reporting structure and other works at a global scale.

For his part, the ambassador underscored that Anadolu Agency’s international prestige was indisputable, expressing his thanks for it reporting on the messages of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Türkiye-India relations are important not only for the two countries but for the broader region as well, Paul emphasized.
