Prize Distribution Ceremony for Glimpses of India Tagore Painting Competition
Embassy of India is organized a gala event on June 10, 2019, to distribute prizes to the winners of the Tagore Painting Competition‘Glimpses of India’ held on April 11, 2019, at Ankara, Antalya, Bursa and Istanbul. The star attraction of the event shall be the ICCRBollywood Dance Group Cultural show for the children. The Chief Guest was DG Secondary Education at Turkey’s Education Ministry MrYusuf Buyuk.
The Ist, IInd ,IIIrd and 2 consolation prizes were distributed under categories- Special needs, Elementary, Middle School and High School to Ankara and Antalya schools. There was one bumper prize each for Anakar and Antalya Ist Prize Winners, as ticket for two to India sponsored by Indigo, which was decided by draw of lots. Similarly, there were tickets for two, taken out by the draw of lots for the lucky winner among the first prize winners of Bursa and Istanbul. An exhibition of the prize winning paintings was also organized at at the venue. A souvenir booklet containing the prize winning paintings shall also be released on this occasion.
The event was organized in collaboration with Ministry of National Education and Ministry of Tourism and Culture and Ministry of Foreign Affairs from Turkish side and Indian Council of Cultural Relations and Indian Embassy. The event was sponsored by Indigo, Vodafone, Mahindra Rise, Aditya Birla Group, Dabur Cosmetics (Hobby) and Alpedo Ice Creams
