Celebrating Hindi Diwas at Embassy of India, Ankara (14.09.2022)

Hindi Diwas was celebrated today at the Indian Embassy in Ankara with great enthusiasm and impressive participation by both Indian and Turkish friends. There were story readings, poetry recitations and singing of popular songs from Hindi films. Besides the commitment of greater use of Hindi in the Mission, the high level of interest in the promotion of the teaching and learning of Hindi in Turkiye was also much visible.
 
आज भारतीय दूतावास, अंकारा में भारतीय और तुर्की मित्रों द्वारा उत्साहपूर्वक और उत्कृष्ट भागीदारी के साथ हिंदी दिवस मनाया गया। कार्यक्रम के अन्तर्गत कहानी वाचन, कविता पाठ और हिंदी फिल्मों के लोकप्रिय गीतों का गायन किया गया। कार्यक्रम के दौरान प्रतिभागियों में हिन्दी के अधिकाधिक प्रयोग की प्रतिबद्धता के साथ-साथ तुर्किये में हिन्दी के शिक्षण एवं अध्ययन के प्रति अभूतपूर्व रुचि दिखाई दी।
 
Ms. Esra Kökdemir, Assistant Professor in Indology Deptt. of Ankara University presenting to Ambassador-designate Dr. Virander Paul her books to aid learning of Hindi by Turkish students. Hindi expert Ozan Cem Aydin from the university also joined.
