Celebration of 58th Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation (ITEC) Day (30.09.2022)

Embassy of India, Ankara celebrated 58th #ITECDay. Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation Programme is the flagship capacity building initiative of the Government of India. 
 
Ambassador-designate Dr. Virander Paul welcomed Chief Guest H. E. Ambassador Oguzhan Ertugrul, Director General for South Asia, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and spoke on the role of technical cooperation in the growing India-Türkiye economic linkages. 
 
The event was attended by ITEC Alumni from Türkiye who shared their experiences of training opportunities in Indian technical institutions. ITEC Alumni from Türkiye - Mr. Hakan Yildiz, Mr. Mehmet Zafer Günes, Ms. Gözde Ulu Metin and Ms. Seher Taru - eloquently shared their happy memories of attending diverse ITEC training courses in India.
