National Day Reception on January 26, 2022

Embassy of India, Ankara, organized a reception on January 26, 2022, to celebrate the 73rd Republic Day of India. Turkish Government Officials, Diplomatic Corps, Friends of India and prominent people of Indian Community were invited to the reception. Dy Foreign Minister of Turkey H.E. Sedat Onal was the chief Guest. The program began with the singing of the national anthems of the two countries. After that Ambassador Sanjay Panda welcomed the guests and presented his address. Sedat Onal in his speech said that India and Turkey must increase their people to people contacts as both countries have deep historical connect. A ceremonial cake was also cut by the Ambassador and the Chief Guest. A Bollywood song and dance show by the local artists of Ankara led by Ms Bilge Opal and her students dance group 'Hsm hint danslar? toplulu?u', and a sensatrion in Indian TV reality show Ms Oyku Gul mesmerized the audience by their scintillating dance performance and singing respectively. The guests were served with Indian food.
