Commemoration of the 550th Birth Anniversary of
Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji

The Embassy of India, Ankara informs that the Government of India has announced to celebrate the 550th Birth Anniversary of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji throughout the country and across the globe, in a grand and befitting manner in India and abroad.

As you are aware, Guru Nanak Dev Ji was the founder of Sikhism and the first of the ten Sikh Gurus. His teachings of love, peace, equality and brotherhood have eternal value.

In this regard, the Embassy will organize an event to celebrate the 550th Birth Anniversary of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji on 26 November 2019 at Tagore Auditorium, Embassy India, 77, Cinnah Caddesi, Cankaya, Ankara.

The Embassy invites you cordially to participate in the event on the occasion of the 550th Birth Anniversary of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji at 6.30 PM on Tuesday, 26 November 2019.
