On Indian Army Day (15th January), Ambassador Dr. Virander Paul, accompanied by Defence Attaché Col. Manuj Garg & Consul General Ms. Sudhi Choudhary, laid a wreath at Cape Helles Memorial at Gallipoli, paying tributes to the Indian soldiers who made supreme sacrifices in the Gallipoli Campaign of the 1st World War. Grateful thanks to Mr. Burak Gündo?ar, Director Commonwealth War Graves Commission (CWGC), Çanakkale and Turkish military officers who assisted and were present at the event. Ambassador also laid a wreath at the Conkbay?r? Atatürk Victory Monument.
