Celebration of Makar Sankranti festival on January 14, 2022

Embassy of India celebrated the festival of Makar Sankranti on January 14, 2022. The festival was celebrated by involving the Indian community as well as Turkish diaspora in Kite Flying and Rangoli making. Indian kites were hand made by Mr R G Mohadikar, Second Secretary (Culture). The Turkish Friends of India tried their hand in Kite Flying. Later in the day the Indian community participated in Rangoli making. These activities were held under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav..
