Gandhi Philately Exhibition on the occasion of the 150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi- 15.10.19

On the occasion of the 150thbirth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi today, the Turkey  Postal Service (PTT), in association with the Embassy of India, Ankara, released a Commemorative Stamp on Sept 24, 2019. A special function was organized by the PTT on October 15, 2019, in which DDG Turkey Posts, Mr. Yusuf Canbolat along with Ambassador of India Sanjay Bhattacharyya inaugurated a Gandhi Philately Exhibition. About 107 exhibits with 51 exhibits of commemorative postage stamps, 9 exhibits of definitive postage stamps, 17 exhibits of First Day Covers, 30 exhibits of Special covers on Mahatma Gandhi prepared by India Post, Government of India, were put on display during the Gandhi Philately Exhibition. A cultural program on Indian Dance was presented by Ms Bilgi and team.
