Embassy Celebrates ‘World Hindi Day’ on March 06, 2020

Embassy of India Ankara celebrated World Hindi Day on March 06, 2020. Various competition were held in which students of Indology Department Ankara University participated like Hindi Handwriting Competition, Story-telling competition, Poem recitation as well as Bollywood song singing. The Turkish students showed exceptional talent in their Hindi spoken and written skills. The winning participants were awarded by Charge d Affaires Vanaja K Thekkat. The Embassy of India sponsored the ‘Best Student Trophy’ which went to Ms Merve Yanik. The Embassy also handed over the running trophy to Indology Department, Ankara University, which was accepted by Prof. Yalcin Kayali and Prof. Esra Kokdemir of Indology Department.
