India's Ambassador to Ankara, Sanjay Bhattacharyya, said that Mahatma Gandhi, the political and spiritual leader of the Indian Independence Movement, had planned to celebrate his 150th birthday on October 2nd with a 'Peace March', which would start from the Sengemen Park.

In the bureaucracy, we passed through the red carpet period in the bureaucracy. In India, we have also experienced a change in the structure of thought. We do this with great faith in democracy. Our people have very high participation in local government. A certain proportion of the village councils that come to power with the election consists of women by law. All these years we have created very strong institutions. We have established a balance between the legislative, executive and judiciary. Our media and non-governmental organizations are very active and very vocal. They also raise many criticisms about the ongoing processes in my country. 


Ambassador Sanjay Bhattacharyya said about the celebration of Mahatma Gandhi's 150th anniversary of birth on 2 October. On Gandhi's birthday, October 2, we will gather at the Segmenler Park and take a peace walk. an album that includes a song that when Gandhi's wake up every morning, with the support of the Ministry of Culture will publish in Turkey on October 2. We will hold seminars and workshops. Another cultural activity we plan will be the India Painting Contest. There will be an activity for school children to see reflections from India in a festive atmosphere. We want to bring a group from Bollywood to entertain the children at the award ceremony. the two countries have a very young population, Turkey and India.



Ambassador Sanjay Bhattacharyya described Ankara as follows:
